Nuovo Conto Energia (Feed-in Tariff) grants
for photovoltaics - what are they
and how to apply
A premium for efficient energy use may be introduced up to the value of 30% of the initial tariff. In order to access grants, documentation relevant to the photovoltaic system must arrive within 60 days of system set-up, another 60 days are available for GSE (Gestore dei Servizi Elettrici) to communicate to the applicant the assigned tariff. Eclipse Italia offers a management service for this process
Nuovo Conto Energia (Feed-in Tariff) establishes rules for the disbursement of grants for photovoltaic systems has been operational in Italy since 13 April 2007. There are some changes to the previous rules, amongst which are a simplification of the procedures to obtain grants, the elimination of the 1000 kW maximum power limit for individual systems and a greater coordination of incentivised tariffs. Nuovo Conto Energia (Feed-in Tariff) incentivised tariffs are granted for 20 years and are established on the basis of the dimensions and degree of integration of the photovoltaic system: larger tariffs are given to smaller systems that are architectonically integrated.
